Ever wonder how to create a twisted pair wire or similar twisted geometry?
One way to accomplish this is to use one of the twist options in a sweep. The trick is to offset the profile slightly from the path. In the below image you can see that the profile is two equal circles offset slightly from the path sketch.
After activating the sweep command you simply select the “Twist Along Path” option for the “Orientation/twist type” section. Next in the “Define by” section you can choose either Degrees, Radians, or Turns and enter your desired value.
